A family with asthma purchased this item after trying several times to find a laundry detergent that would wash well but leave no lingering odor. We tried Arm & Hammer and EcoEgg. Both were adequate but did not remove stains very well. This product lasts longer than Arm & Hammer because you use less, but I wish it was bigger. If you have a child in the house, you know that you do laundry almost every day, and a bin that size barely lasts a week. I suggest going back to EcoEgg. It's eco-friendly and asthma-friendly, and for the price ($23 for unflavored) it lasts for 720 downloads, you can't beat it. Purex can't keep up with that. I would have had to buy 21 bottles of Purex to hit that amount for a whopping $210!
