Review on Melitta Caffeo Solo & Perfect Milk coffee machine, black by Dagmara Cymerys ᠌
A good product, more pros than cons.
The machine appeared recently and I accidentally found it. Before that, I considered only DeLonghi (22.360 or 23.450). They are more expensive, but worse in design, for my taste, with similar functionality (is it easier to prepare a cappuccino, it seems to me). The foam is excellent, does not settle for a long time. I tried different options, milk 1.5%, cream 20% (I used to drink freeze-dried instant coffee, without cream I can’t stand it at all, one bitterness). Now, I think, I will experiment both with full-fat milk (3.5-5%) and with 10% cream. As a result, if reliability is important for you (and I have not heard complaints about Melitta), design (!), Excellent price / functionality ratio (as I wrote, in this model you do not overpay for something that you will not use), then this your choice. And other models of the company are pleasing to the eye.
- Really narrow, nothing superfluous in terms of functionality, low consumption of coffee and water, nice price
- It looks worse live than in the picture (everything is plastic, except for the cup tray), when preparing foam, if the cup is not high, it splashes milk (you just need to lift the cup and there is no problem), the automatic cappuccino maker works almost like a manual one - first you make coffee , then press the "steam" button. The difference with the manual one is that the milk is drawn into the cappuccinatore through a straw, you do not need to put it directly into the cup. I have no experience in using other solutions, but, as I understand it, the machine should dispense milk itself, without any manipulation of the buttons (it is enough to press 1 button before making a cappuccino). In principle, this is not a minus, just a little more movement. However, the price fully justifies it.
