I really like this heater for many reasons. First, it regulates the temperature within 2 degrees. Second, the heater displays the temperature right on the heater, which is very easy to read anywhere in the room. I use an optional digital thermometer to monitor the temperature in the tank and this heater maintains an accurate and consistent temperature. Other advantages of this heater: relatively low height compared to other heaters, very good suction cups and clearly visible when the heater is switched on and off. The main reason I bought this heater is that you can adjust the temperature from the OUTSIDE of the aquarium. I'm tired of having to constantly adjust the temperature by hand in a tank on heaters with dials or settings, most of which are imprecise compared to this digital model. Setting the temperature is very easy.
