I installed an LCD rearview mirror and DVR and needed to check the fuse slots in the Forte. This is exactly what I need and I found it at a great price. I love that it has a large alligator clip on the negative end. I was able to easily attach it to the car frame without tearing it off. The ground wire is quite long (2 feet) and VERY thick. I was very impressed with its construction, I was expecting something cheap based on the price I paid. I later used it to check the Prius fuse slots for another dash cam install and again there was no problem. It clicked nicely on the screw while I wiggled under the dash where the fuse box is (a very awkward spot) and I was able to check the slots without loosening the clamp and having to slide it back out. I'm not an electrician and only bother with basic wire/switch installation and only because I have such devices to determine not only which fuse slot is hot when the car is off, but also which side of the fuse slot the fuse is on exit is hot.
