Review on πŸ”‹ Powerful AFI 35040 STD Marine Wiper Motor with 12V, 2.5-Inch Shaft, and 80-Degree Sweep by Anthony Parker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They are connected as they should be. +, -, switchable +

After buying cheaper versions of this motor from Revain and other vendors and spending days trying to figure out why they don't work, I finally found an electrical diagram, on the cheap ones are connected +, -.- Switched. What? That's stupid. Some engineer needs to laugh at the pain he's causing American boaters. I was looking online at the Marinco website for the schematic for these AFI motors. + .-.Switched+, like my old ones.I was skeptical but decided to give it a try.Wow!It worked the first time!I rewired both wiper motors, swapped the switches, tried three different sets of motors just to get it finally found it there was a stupid wiring mismatch on the motors that robbed me of any hope of joy learn from my wasted hours and get them first if your wiring +.-.switched + is.i call these motors one star because they are more expensive and pretty much the same low quality as all the others. The only difference is that they are properly wired internally. However, I'd happily pay more given the number of hours wasted on other oddly wired motor sets.
