As many other reviewers rightly pointed out, this display produces an EXTREMELY dark image (my second monitor was 50% brighter than the Samsung S80A monitor). There is a setting that causes this. To adjust this setting, press the middle button below to open the icon grid. Press up once and press the center button again to access the display settings. Scroll down to "System" and press the middle button again. Scroll all the way down and disable "Eco Sensor Modeβ. I believe this will solve the problem for most people. The brightness can also be adjusted in the "Menu" under "Picture Settings". The rest of the display is excellent. Clarity is good, although color reproduction is noticeably oversaturated (I would argue that this is not a very good monitor for photo/video color grading).
