I made a couple out of a 16" MBP but wanted a less cramped fit. I've settled on a nice 52" wide desk, Logitech MX keys, an MX Master 3 mouse and this 27" monitor. After I increased the brightness for the "SDR" content, everything worked beautifully. I have an old iMac (2012) and a new Macbook Air. When using this with an iMac the max resolution is 1080p which means every app is HUGE on the big screen. With Air I can increase the resolution and that's fine. Also, I saw a review that said it wasn't bright enough and didn't look as good as an Apple screen. We really like this monitor. The color is amazing. The picture is amazing. The sound quality is excellent. I believe Samsung makes the best electronics! I'm always amazed at what they do next. Love the kickstand and how you can rotate it in any direction. We later bought a Vega TV mount and loved it there too!

I like the monitor very much. It was very easy to set up etc. My only issue, which I've already gotten used to, is that it's just dimmer than what I was used to from my old screen, even after adjusting the brightness and contrast.

This is a fairly high quality monitor that is well worth the money. It works very well with my M1 MacBook Pro. I wish the power cord was a little longer because it was quite short. This monitor turned out to be very weak in terms of brightness, as for some reason it had two settings turned on that lowered the brightness. In order to achieve full brightness, this monitor offers an "Eye Care Mode" and the "Eco Sensor Mode" must be switched off.
