Great price for a 4k monitor that can be used for office work. Of course, it won't be as bright as the latest MacBook's monitor and the speakers aren't as good, but for the price, there's nothing to complain about. To maximize brightness, turn off Eco Saving Plus and Eye Protection Mode. If you set the "Response Time" mode to "Fastest", the ghosting becomes very noticeable and annoying with something as simple as dragging a text window that I wouldn't even consider serious real-time gaming with it. I love that I can plug in USB-C to power my laptop and display an extended desktop. I suggest using the "MonitorControl" app to control the monitor's brightness and volume from a Mac, which you can't do otherwise except through the monitor controls. The thinner size is convenient for small tables. One of the risks you run with this purchase is the possibility of dead/stuck pixels and unfortunately I've come across one. (Verified by showing a completely black screen and noting that it's stuck to completely white - but at least the color change works for this pixel.) Since it's too much of a hassle to go back, I'll have to look into this.
