Glad I read the other reviews, this monitor seemed weak at first but that can be fixed. In my case, the darkness came from the Windows HDR settings. After I increased the brightness for the "SDR" content, everything worked beautifully. FYI, to test HDR video content, you can find an HDR video on YouTube (if the video supports it, it will show up in a small gear icon), but note that this doesn't work in Firefox, only Chrome browsers . The speakers are ok and quite loud. The stand is very good, very adjustable. Love the USB-C hub functionality (doesn't work on older laptops). The screen refresh rate is decent but can't compete with a dedicated gaming display. For productivity and movie watching, this is a really great screen.
