It works with 2020 MacBookPro with M1 chip.

I bought another monitor from a different source. It should be developed together with the MacBook Pro. But it didn't work well with the M1 chip and kept having problems (I have a 1st gen MacBook Pro with an M1 chip). After sending it in 3 times and claiming to replace the motherboard, the monitor still didn't work. I told them to test it on a MacBook Pro with an M1 chip, but they didn't. I finally got this company to give me my money back. After over 6 months with this company I bought this unit for about half the price. Samsung has been working flawlessly with the computer since I got the monitor 2-3 months ago. The only things it doesn't have is an on-screen camera and a couple of ports on the back. I'm connecting with a USB-C cable, not a video cable. If there are any issues I will come back to report them. Epilogue: I am NOT a gamer and use the monitor for general work, graphic design.
