I bought this specifically to use with the M1 Macbook Air via USB C. First Impression: Easy assembly, just one screw to attach the base. The stand on the back of the monitor has a clip. Adjustments to the stand are smooth. There is no box attached to the cable. Luckily it's just a cord. Includes USB-C and HDMI cables. The instructions are terrible, but it's easy to figure everything out. Connecting to a Macbook was easy. The Mac brings the screen up to 1440p and looks great. Wireless mouse receiver plugged into the back of the monitor works fine. USB-A connectors are obsolete, I don't know why they should be returned there. Other reviews state that the screen is dark and to fix this disable Eco mode and EyeSaver, they have already been disabled on my monitor. The screen doesn't get really bright, but it's fine for my purposes. If you have a lot of street light hitting your monitor directly, you can get a lot of glare. Enabling HDR dims the monitor unusably. A big disadvantage: the sound when using a USB-C connection does not work through the monitor. Not the biggest issue for me since my external audio receiver has Bluetooth, but it defeats the simplicity of a single cable and renders the headphone jack on the monitor unusable. Overall for $300 I really can't complain.
