Everything is fine, so I won't say anything. The speaker sounds like it's in a box compared to my PC speakers or headphones.

Everything about this monitor is great except for a tiny strip of dead pixels. Is this suitable as a replacement? I got it today and it's bugging my OCD.

The monitor exceeded my expectations in terms of colors, brightness, etc. It works great when connected via HDMI. However, I bought it for its compatibility with the USB-C cable, I have an Ultrabook and wanted to use all the functions of the monitor (also as a USB hub). Unfortunately, the monitor flickers when connected via USB-C. And the problem is I'm not sure if it's the cable itself or the USB C port on the back of the monitor.

At first I thought the screen was a bit dim, but that was because Echo Sensor mode was enabled (default). It's somewhat hidden in the settings (under System, scroll all the way down). Note that it's different from Echo Saving Plus (also found under System), which I think is disabled by default, but

Bought it to match my laptop. The picture quality is outstanding. I do a lot of photography and this monitor displays true to life colors which is very helpful when editing photos.

These monitors look great. Daisy chaining with USB-C would be a nice upgrade for a multi-monitor setup to keep space tidy. But my dock still works.

Bought this monitor at a great price. Important considerations alongside brand, resolution and price were built-in speakers; I'm using this on a monitor arm attached to a vertical floor stand: there's no room for separate speakers. The picture is excellent; I don't use it (connected via HDMI) for gaming: mainly for web surfing and a lot of Youtube browsing; YT in 4K is a great match for this monitor. I have not touched the factory settings and I am completely satisfied with the display.

The 4K quality is fantastic and a huge step up from 1080p. The built-in speakers are adequate, although I'm certainly not surprised that they compare poorly to the dedicated speakers. The 90W USB port is by far the best part. Having a cable to power your device and transfer video is incredibly handy, although (obviously) it's not made for gaming.

This Samsung S80A would have received 5 stars were it not for two very annoying issues when using this monitor with a Mac.1. When your Mac goes into sleep mode, S80A turns off power and data transfer to Mac. For some reason it decides to check EVERY 5 MINUTES if the input is connected. In doing so, it understands that your Mac is connected (in my case via USB-C with 90W Power Delivery and as a display input). It then momentarily starts loading your Mac, then the monitor says no input was…

The monitor itself is great. It is as advertised. No, it doesn't have any variable refresh rate, but it's not advertised as such. Image quality is excellent and HDR 10 works as expected. The included stand was difficult to assemble. The bottom didn't want to screw itself into the top without a significant effort.

I'm not a gamer, but I needed a monitor for work. It's great for graphics, and the built-in speaker means I don't need extra speakers cluttering my desk. It also has 3 extra USB ports on the back to connect which is very convenient. I use it with a USB-C cable plugged into my Mac - works like a charm. Highly adjustable, strong, heavy base, easy to install - no fancy brackets needed.

I don't know if this is the wrong setting for me, but the color accuracy is far from it. Does anyone have a recommendation for setting the color? Another thing that worries me a little is that it's not bright enough. at this price, what more can I ask for.

For the price, this monitor can't be beat. 4K resolution, built-in speakers, USB-C, USB 3.0 hub. The only issue I had was Samsung's quality control. I received this monitor and it had a dead pixel almost in the middle of the monitor. Revain customer service is great and they sent me a replacement straight away but my replacement had another dead pixel! It wasn't that noticeable so I decided to keep it. Still, it's a nice monitor and a nice picture.

The single screw holding the base to the stand is too large to be properly tightened, causing the monitor to wobble on the stand. A thread that has been screwed on can be torn off by too much pressure and still does not go all the way in. This is a known design flaw as noted by other Revain customers. Apparently Samsung didn't fix that. You should send customers a smaller screw that fits properly.

OMG a lot of people must have returned this monitor thinking it had terrible brightness. I almost did. You need to turn off the "Eco Sensor Mode" hidden at the bottom of the "System" menu. Samsung really shot itself in the foot with this. Out of the box, the panel looks flawedly dark even at a brightness setting of 100. After switching off this setting, 80% brightness seems sufficient to me.
