Review on Fooker MTB Pedals: Ultimate Cycling Experience With Flat And SPD Dual Functionality by Jim Roberts

Not for BMX racing: my feedback

Quality is nice, but the bearing spin very easily. Normally this would be a good thing but I just put these in a BMX bike because I like the idea of clips on one side, flats in the other. BMX racing has a starting gate that requires you to clip in while balancing stationary. The problem is that one food gets clipped in while the other pedal rolls over so the clip side is facing down so I'm trying to spin the pedal while I'm balancing on one foot. The pedals are great but I now have to tighten the bearings up somehow so the pedal doesn't spin so freely.

Pros
  • Cycling
Cons
  • Slippery Surface: Some users may find the surface of Fooker MTB pedals too slippery for secure footing, making it difficult to maintain balance while riding
