In comparison to the earlier iteration, the spikes have been improved to be more resilient and tenacious. Although it is not the most affordable option, the pricing is reasonable. I'm pleased with how the tires turned out! Spikes have an oval cut, which gives a higher grip in a straight line, and they have a wear resistant material that prevents the spikes from becoming worn down quickly. Spikes also perform well on ice, even when the brakes are applied (with moderation, of course). With these drawbacks: It is noisy (studs are studs after all), it is not very maneuverable on loose snow, and the tread is clogged (but to a lesser extent).
