It's definitely not what you use in a steakhouse
They're cheap, plastic handles, blades are very flimsy and flimsy, stainless steel gets dirty after about three uses. They cut, and they cut pretty well. I paid significantly more for a set of Wüsthof steak knives that are no better. If I had to do it again I would choose them over Wushof and save myself a hundred bucks. If you want the heavy duty knives you use at a steakhouse you'll spend about $40 each, just the reality of the business. Everyone says they cost $30.
