I have no doubt that this product will work. And that is also a great value. The reason for the bad rating is the lack of instructions. And it's not like there's a universal color code for polishing paste or anything like that. There are no instructions in the packaging. I actually had to print out this product page to use as a reference. Generally a vague description. To be honest I still don't know if black is rougher or brown (in my experience I'm 70% sure brown is rougher). And I have no idea what to do with blue when polishing steel. And I'm not exactly sure if 7000 series aluminum falls into the "soft metal" category.
