As a laptop stand meaning you will be using a laptop with a keyboard and mouse it is very durable and has various height and angle options. I don't see a scenario where you couldn't raise the screen to a comfortable eye level. But as a laptop stand for better ergonomics, as a laptop, it's not a very good job at all. Unfortunately, typing is hampered by large protrusions that prevent the laptop from sliding around, and the stand's floating design makes the laptop wobble with every keystroke. However, this laptop stand really shines and elevates the laptop to eye level when standing. As a remote worker, I use my laptop camera in a lot of meetings. I like to be at these meetings. My previous stand went up 10 inches when the laptop was flat so I had to slide the screen back to see the camera and it felt like I was literally looking down on my team. Now the camera is right at eye level when standing, and the stand is so stable that I'm not at all afraid of wobbling. For virtual meetings, this is a laptop stand you should buy without hesitation. Overall I'm happy with my purchase as it satisfies the need to raise the laptop to eye level while sitting or standing, which is what I wanted. If you're just trying to place your hands on your laptop at a more ergonomic angle while seated at your desk, you should probably consider other options.
