Use on a Raspberry Pi 2 or Pi Zero

Bought for a project I'm building with a Raspberry Pi Zero. The drivers they give you on the hard drive don't work properly but the project builder was very helpful and provided installation instructions (this should also help with installing on any Raspberry Pi as this is my first time using it on an RPi2 and it worked great): First, let's install the wifi drivers: pi@raspberrypi: $ sudo apt-get install raspberrypi-kernel-headerspi@raspberrypi: $ git clone[.]lscd rt*sudo makesudo make installsudo insmod 8723bu.koifconfigsudo reboot Next we will install Bluetooth Driver 4.0: git clone [.] cd rtl8723au_btgit checkout -b kernel origin/kernelgit branchgit pull sudo makesudo make install After that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi should work on the Raspberry Pi (using the Jessie build) . (Instructions created by ZeroBeatPro, via Thingiverse Link: [.]Note: if you change the model like I did from Raspberry Pi 2 to Zero, you need to follow the steps to rebuild the Wi-Fi drivers. Bluetooth should be fine function.

  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Something's wrong
