I was not sure about this purchase, but my grandson is difficult to buy these days. Little did I know he saw a bunch of pirated stuff recently and immediately linked her to it. I watched him open it through a virtual call. He was very pleased about that. Some of the reviews I saw said people had trouble concentrating. He figured out the focus right away and showed me how to do it by rotating the smallest segment of the scope. He likes to go to the lake park near his house and take it with him. He also enjoys watching birds and squirrels in the garden. He mentioned that he liked the case. I checked it out today as well and it's better than both of my binoculars because it's more stable if that makes sense. Anyway, for the price it was a really great gift that made the boy (and his grandma) damn happy.
