Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 195/60 R15 88T winter by Micha Pirecki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

Toyota Camry, operated mainly in Hong Kong and the region. Driving style - calm, something between a pensioner and a silver dream racer. Maximum speed - 160 km / h, rearrangements only in extreme cases (go around an obstacle), in corners a maximum of 80 km / h. In December 2022, I bought pirelki spontaneously - I went for breeches. But in the store, instead of breeches, which SUDDENLY ran out, they offered some noname, apparently counting on the fact that "once he came, he would definitely buy it." But I refused the noname, went to another store. And there, of decent tires, there were only pyrelki. I took it and immediately went to Hong Kong. On the way back and forth 2 cases of emergency braking - no complaints, the car stopped like dry land. When overtaking (leaving the snow rut), there are no complaints either - the hook is excellent. In general, on a really winter highway (snow, ice, porridge, snow rut) you forget that you are driving in winter. The disadvantages follow from the advantages. Do not forget that these are studded tires: 1. Up to 40 km / h, the clatter of spikes is heard, from 40 km / h a rumble begins. The maximum decibels, in my opinion, are in the region from 80 to 100 km / h, more than 100 km / h the noise level decreases. For me, it's okay - louder music and norms 2. Some comrades wrote that, they say, you can’t start on asphalt without slipping. In fact, spikes, due to their design features, really weaken the grip on asphalt, this is a law of physics. So if religion or driving up to the right / left and calling for a drag bmw / mercedes / audi / choose your own, then the spikes are not for you. 3. Good premium tires cannot be cheap, so the price tag on them is not the most affordable. In general, I strongly recommend to purchase

Pros
  • Handling - on ice, in slush and on rolled snow, the car runs like it's on rails. Wear resistance - I am rolling back the second season (mainly on asphalt, because the winter has turned out to be warm today), all the teeth are in place Strength - there were pits, and railway crossings, and joints on the Third Ring Road. There are no hernias, ruptures, cuts. So, probably, those comrades who write about a weak sidewall drive according to the principle "more speed - less holes"
