Worked fine for the tie rod, though.

Worked well for removing the front tie rod ball joint on the BMW e39. The round nut that pushed the rod out continues to fall off the threaded portion of the tool shank. Return to Revain for replacement. It looks like the shank that slides into the threaded part is not straight. Revain sent a replacement, great customer service.
