This item was perfect for my 5 year old. I love that it has the ability to both play on a handheld device like a Gameboy and connect to a TV and use a different controller with the TV. It comes with a ton of options, we've only covered a few and there are many more things to try! It's also a good flashback for adults. The controls react very quickly.
