For my truck (a 2016 Ford F-150 5.5' Supercrew) it fit well and the installation was fairly easy. You will need to drill holes, so it's important to measure twice before cutting. I docked a sprocket because the sheet metal screws used to attach the hitch latch to the truck body weren't very good quality. I snapped off one of the screw caps trying to screw the screw in and blew the heads off the other two. Luckily they supplied replacement parts and it looks like the other two screws are holding just enough to secure the bed extension and are holding for now. So do it slowly when inserting the screws so you don't remove the head or break it like I did. I recommend just getting some better quality sheet metal screws before attempting to install them and you don't have to worry. Otherwise it was fit for purpose and I wouldn't be afraid to use anything else that was provided.
