Review on Fluidmaster PRO45C High-performance Fill Valve by Jeremy Meza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No experience with it, first time and I have to share that.

You need to shut off the water supply line to the toilet (usually the handle next to the toilet, closer to the floor outside the toilet) - then flush the toilet with a rag or a large amount of towel paper (or a small pump) remove a small amount of water left in the tank. You need to completely remove the top half of your toilet so take that first step so now go to your toilet and find the THREE screws that attach to the top of the toilet (tank) from the bowl. Make sure you have enough dexterity and space to unscrew them, they aren't too tight and that was more annoying than difficult. That HUGE nut that can get you in trouble if you don't have a plumber's wrench. Since this kit came with a new one, I removed it by sticking the tip of a flat head screwdriver into one of the corners of the nut (it's plastic) and tapping the screwdriver with a hammer to loosen the nut and then the unscrew the rest. Hand. This worked for me! I tightened the new one the same way, but being careful not to overtighten it so as not to break anything. Finally the piece of rubber that you need to take out (you'll see it at this point, don't worry), I just cut it off. Scissors because they were kinda stuck there and the kit was new. the rest just does everything in reverse order with new parts. Took me about 1 hour in total, maybe 1:30 - I can do that, but I made sure you have no experience with it at all. Finally you can find this on YouTube and see if it helps so you can imagine what I'm saying if you're on the fence hope this helps someone.
