They wash and dry perfectly in the machine, with no noticeable shrinkage. The rocket ship print still looks new after multiple washes. The fabric is thinner but offers more warmth than leggings. They are very wide at the foot so they feel a bit big on my 3 year old who has very slim legs. but apart from the wider legs, they fit him perfectly in length and width! Highly recommended :)
