I actually wanted a much shorter cable - I found the long cable too long and was VERY annoying! angled "plug" main cable - as I don't have much room under my 70" wall mounted TV. It was convenient. The unit looks sturdy and tidy and I don't think all the components that go with MY TV will draw power up to 1.8kW it can deliver The ability to have a 12v charger built into the unit is also practical The price was good the quality looks good only time will tell how long it will last I hope 8 to 10 years I hope to get from HD HIGH DEFINITION TELEVISION!
