Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Autel MaxiCheck Pro ABS Autobleed OBD2 Diagnostic Tool: Affordable, Lifetime Free Update, Ideal for Technicians and DIYers by Jay Buford

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Changed rating good for tools and equipment

I have previously reviewed below and given the product a star. Although I was disappointed, bugs and bugs do happen and it's how the vendor responds to these issues that define them. The seller tried his best to make it right. Dozens of communication efforts, troubleshooting steps, and finally a replacement and update for my problems. The new device works as expected. If the supplier acknowledges and fixes their problems, they must be shared. Based on the new device's features and excellent support, I've upgraded it to 5 stars. First check: Installed software on the PC. A product registered. Checked for updates. "There are no updates available for this device". Large should then be aware. Try using it on a 2003 Lincoln Town Car it should cover. The car has very bad misfires and engine lights. Maxicheck says there are no codes. Use my old Actron and it pulls 8 codes. TPS is out of specification. Misfires in cylinders 3 and 8. I think I'll stick with the Actron. If it can't even get the codes, I have to wonder if the boost feature works, which was the main reason for the purchase.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Useless features
