but i think it will get better with practice

i got this today and played with it for a while. I have some experience with the smaller KB starter loom which is narrower and smaller overall. It turned out to be a little harder to hold, but I think it'll get better with time. Right out of the box I had to tighten the hex screw on the non-adjustable end because the 5 pin connector was really loose and wobbly. . I don't think everyone has the right size allen wrenches so I wish the manufacturers carried one as these types of bolts tend to loosen over time anyway. I don't think it's a downside in any way, but it's worth keeping in mind. My first impression is that, just before tightening the screw, it's well made and strong. The pens are plastic but very good quality. My previous loom suffered a lot from my oily fingers and too much tension and I had no problems. a stitch that requires you to come out of the bottom of the pin. However, you only use 5 pins of XX. Knitters probably won't like these looms like I do, but I can't get my knitting needles to work. If you are working with a smaller sock (toddler size) it will be difficult to get to the inner pins of the adjustable piece when making a stitch that requires you to come from the bottom of the pin.
