I was very happy with my Shocsox and loved the customer service. I bought them for use as a competitive rowing champion. I needed something to put my feet on in rowing shoes. They had to endure the abuse of being constantly exposed to salt water (our club rows on the Intracoastal Waterway) which would also protect my feet on oyster beds etc. These spandex socks have a neoprene sole which provides excellent protection for the soles of my feet. . I first bought a large shoe that was too big for me even though I wear 11 1/2 EEE men's shoes. The support team contacted me (before I contacted them) to see if I was happy with the product. They immediately sent me a medium that fits perfectly. Very happy with this company but based on my experience I suggest considering a smaller size than you initially think.
