I wore them to a frisbee tournament on the beach. Eventually they start to fill up with sand and you have to take them out to clear the sand but it was worth it. Some of my teammates got big cuts on their legs from rocks, but I didn't get a single scratch. Walking in the sand was also much easier for me.

I ordered a black Aloha print and we got an Aloha floral print. Not too manly for my 6ft 4in 260lb husband...we had to have them for our annual July 4th rafting so we couldn't go back and get the right ones. He's a good athlete and will wear them. Plus, it's just what he needs to keep his injured leg from tearing.

Surprisingly comfortable! I wear women's shoes from size 9.5 to 10 and ordered them from medium. Fits perfectly! If my feet were a little bigger I would have to go up the next size up. So far I've only worn them at home, but if they stand up to a sand volleyball game I'm very happy with this purchase. The bottom is made of some material. So I'm a bit worried about the underbody protection. But they basically feel like I'm wearing socks.

Tried other brands and didn't like it. Went back to my hotel room a few blocks from the beach and had no problems or sudden wear and tear. I bought the tropical print, I liked them so much I bought another pair in black. My daughter bought these to play beach volleyball for her school team. She has worn them for a total of 2 weeks and both pairs already have a noticeable hole through which sand gets into the sock. They were very nice when they arrived and made her feel comfortable playing in the sand. She only wore these socks for sand volleyball. However, they must have lasted significantly longer than 2 weeks. Very disappointed and definitely not worth the money. I do NOT recommend!

I wear them with hiking sandals to keep gravel off when I'm walking on the beach or across rivers. Also, I wear them in fins to avoid rubbing. They work very well in both applications. Hiking sandals keep your feet warm in summer. They are light and dry quickly. Although I wear them quite often, there are some signs of wear. I didn't expect them to hold up to prolonged use and I'm happy with how they're holding up, but I plan on replacing them annually if you use them frequently. Good value for

I go to the beach regularly and look for sea glass. I go to the beaches of the Great Lakes region, which are a mixture of sand, small stones, and shells. I always go barefoot on the beach. So the stones sure aren't too numerous or uneven where I walk if I can wear it barefoot. I bought these socks to have less sandy feet and some cushioning.
