Bought to replace an old receiver but mainly because it had bluetooth capabilities. BT works great and has a very good range, I can switch music from across the house. Works for me! The receiver will sit in my garage and power 4 outdoor speakers by the pool. It probably won't fit in a home theater amp, but for my use and price it's perfect. Sounds good! Very clearly. The bass is 50% higher than my outdoor speakers. So if I had a subwoofer, they would probably do well. Only time will tell if this inexpensive receiver can handle the extreme heat of summer and the cold of winter without fail! I think we'll see. but at first glance it will work. The remote control is disposable, very cheap. But if you're using Bluetooth, who cares.
