I know I have an old unit. HAP240 old. But if the filter is not compatible with it, then don't list it as compatible with it. There is a plastic guide/bracket on one side of the filter which is causing a problem. I can force the filter into the block, but it doesn't fit properly and forces the plastic at the top of the block to bulge outward, which is obviously undesirable. I cut off the plastic piece (not easy) and now it fits. I probably should have asked for a refund but I managed and it was cheap. The charcoal filters are the wrong size, some scissor cuts make them bearable.
