Review on Enhanced Performance Idle Air Control Valve by Standard Motor Products AC197 by Jeremy Marshall

What a relief. A non-OEM part that actually works. My original IAC was causing RPM dips and traffic halts. I've tried cleaning it twice but to no avail. Decided to try the AutoKay IAC, also sold here at Revain, and it called out 1200 rpm at idle in both gear and idle, hot and cold. Got a replacement. It revved even higher and gave out codes. After removing the IAC for the 5th time, I decided to try this brand. More than twice the price of AutoKay, but dude. it runs great at idle! It's a little pricey for a non-genuine part, but it does the job. Don't do what I did and don't spend hours taking apart your TB to save a few bucks. I also had a gasket with me. I will update this review if anything comes up.
