We adopted an 18 month old terrier about 3 months ago. He doesn't drive well. He is very excited and wants to walk around in the car. I ordered these seat belts instead of a trunk/suitcase. That works great! I managed to get the strap to the perfect length so he could still stick his head out the window but not flop onto the floor or into the front seat. He didn't mind being buckled up at all. He didn't struggle with the harness or try to pull it.
