Review on JW Pet Co. Activitoys Dice Bird Toy by Jim Jarvis

I bought this toy for my lovebird and she really enjoys attacking the shiny cubes. However, be aware that this toy can be dangerous. I was out of town for a month and my boyfriend was taking care of my pets. She went out to feed one afternoon and found that my lovebird had broken one of the links in the chain just enough to get her lower beak stuck in it. She dug a hole in her beak trying to free herself and the toy had to be surgically removed. She was lucky and didn't pierce the vascular area, otherwise she could bleed to death. However, it is a good toy to play with outside the cage under close supervision. Just make sure your bird doesn't break the chain links. What happened to my bird was a rare accident, but I don't want anyone else going through the same stress.
