Purchased to replace my Definitive Technology ProSub 60 8 ohm 8 inch home theater woofer. The overall diameter is 8.44 inches, not 8.24 inches. So doesn't fit my recessed woofer cutout The top rim doesn't have U-screw cutouts like in the picture; You need to have longer screws attaching to the plastic instead of the metal, which could end up hitting your grille/grille. This plastic is not removable as it is glued and adds rigidity so the woofer doesn't tilt like that quickly deformed could not fit in my box, I have no feedback on sound quality or boominess.
