I only have access to the OBD data cable and Toyota TechStream software. So I was happy to find inexpensive TPMS devices that also didn't require a TPMS tool to set up. After I entered the IDs of these new sensors into my 2011 Toyota Avalon with my laptop and inflated the tires to 32 pounds of air, the tire warning light on the dash immediately went off. I checked the ECM tire pressures and found they were all in the same range. pounds of pressure measured with my digital tire pressure gauge. So my impression is that these TPMS devices are pretty accurate. I'm deducting a star because they only come in packs of four and my car has five (yes, one on the spare wheel).
