I have many StarTech products. In my experience, their products are top notch and very reliable. So far I've used this with both Lenovo and Dell devices. In all cases, I've had absolutely no performance issues with any brand. If your display is 4k I assure you it will work great with this setting. It stays relatively cool, even with prolonged use. The cable is a little longer than usual. Overall: This is a quality product that works flawlessly and according to specs. I have no reservations in recommending this. 5 Stars
