Review on Raybestos Powertrain Automatic Transmission Suppressed by Matthew Shankar

Installed this filter on a new transmission after the original transmission failed 90,000 miles. At about 70,000 miles the transmission began to slip, which was noticeable, although I had to replace it when I did it when I had to go back east to help a family member move to California. The current gearbox has 145,000 miles on it and the gearbox is very clean. I changed this filter every 12,000 miles and took it apart every time. The first time after replacing the gearbox and driving across the country, it was very dirty with metal shavings. All other changes were very clean. I will be installing this filter in all new cars I buy in the future.
