The SportRack clip requires two to four attempts to thread the strap through the locking clip (too thick to easily push through)
To get proper perspective I would Thule OEM straps rate 5 stars. Please note that Thule straps are more than twice the price of these! However, I rate them 3 stars. The design of the retaining clips on them looks the same, but the quality is different. The SportRack -Clip takes two to four attempts to thread the strap through the locking clip (too thick to easily fit through the pulley space) My 9ft Thule straps only take one attempt to thread it. Don't worry, once the strap is threaded through the clip it works just like a Thule strap, it fixes my kayaks perfectly.
