Very simple, it will take three AA batteries needed, after that simply unravel the end that tied the thread and place it where you want it. I would recommend rechargeable ones so you don't have to keep buying new ones. I have this candle jar on my desk with the usual warm white garlands, but I bought these to replace so I can add a bit more. Color What I like about them is that because they are RGB they are not one cable but three so there is a bit more protection. The remote also comes with a battery, which is cool too.
