Installation was successful

Installation was successful. The fit for the 2021 Honda Passport was good and the touchscreen is responsive once installed. The glare is pretty obvious but doesn't look worse than a bare screen. To be honest I don't think I would buy one of these unless absolutely necessary. I drive a lot in the desert and when I touch the screen and swipe the screen I have all sorts of solid particles on my hands so it made sense to me. For general use, figure out how to clean it properly? In addition to the tools that come with this product, I've taken a few additional steps. I used a leaf blower to blow or remove most of the dust in the car and installed a large air filter behind the front seats connected to an extension cord. This helps draw (pull back) air towards you and collect particles that may be airborne in a free state. I sat in the car until the screen cleared and I couldn't see that nothing was floating in the air. I then proceeded with the installation, only removing the back glass cover once everything was in place. I don't catch dust and bubbles are usually removed. Glass screen protectors are more tolerant of dust, but it's just a mess if some of it sticks to the back of the device. In a dry climate, I have to be particularly careful. At least in a humid environment, dust settles more actively. Additional note: A humidifier can also help with this process. I have no particular complaints in this case. There's no real reason not to give five stars. But it's just a nuisance, and they're so easy to screw up once installed that it's hard to justify giving them more than four. And they really aren't the best products to install from a package.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Everything is fine
