Review on Westinghouse Lighting Ripley 7201800 52-Inch Reversible Five-Blade Indoor Ceiling Fan, Brownstone with Amber Mist by Emily Wilson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is normal in our bedroom or living room where we stayed.

Installation was easy. I connected it to separate switches to control the light and fan. Maybe in the future I'll switch the lights to LED, but for now I'm using incandescent bulbs. Advantages: - Reversible fan switch. In warm weather, run the fan counterclockwise to avoid overheating. Run it clockwise in winter to circulate warm air from the ceiling and eliminate cold spots and drafts. Cons: - No remote control. You need to control it from the light switch or from the fan itself. - Dim the light. This is good in our bedroom or living room where we could use other light sources (table or floor lamps). It didn't work for our dining room or family room where we didn't have another light source. Product Description: - 52" reversible five-blade indoor ceiling fan; ideal for rooms up to 360 square feet (18ft x 20ft) - 153mm x 17mm cold-rolled steel motor with three speeds (high/medium/low); reversing switch ( clockwise, counterclockwise) to blow air up or down. Air consumption: 4837 cfm Power consumption: 62 W without backlight Airflow efficiency: 78 cfm per watt Includes two lamps, 54" lead wire, 3/4" to 4" lower stem, traction chains, and dual 13-watt mid-base CFLs. two lights, 54" power cord, 3/4" x 4" bottom stem, traction chains and two 13 watt center cap fluorescent bulbs
