Review on APEC Alkaline Water Filter System ROES PH75 by April Andrews

So far so good, but I tested the PH in filtered water and it showed 5! Not what I expected. I ordered this system because it was said to add minerals back to the water. Has anyone else had the same problem and how was it resolved? Many Thanks. Update: Almost 2 months later and PH still at 5, bright orange. Folks, be careful when drinking reverse osmosis water as it robs the water of important nutrients and lowers alkalinity. I'm calling APEC about a broken PH filter. I don't want my family to drink too acidic and "dead" water without minerals. Update: I've tested the PH 3 in various ways, strips and drops, and it's still low. I am calling the company to recover the extra charge I paid for the PH filter as it is clearly not working. My tap water scored 7 and APEC water scored 6.
