Warm down jacket for a boy with a spotted zebra, Best Buy brand. I bought my eight year old son in the Navy Space style. The colors and patterns go well with bright blue, orange and white tones. dimensions are correct. My son wears a size 8-10 and a size 8 fits him and there is room to grow. It really is the perfect fit with enough padding underneath to support medium to bulky tops. My son loves the soft sherpa-like material that lines most of the inside of the coat. It feels so soft and warms him perfectly that he can only wear a t-shirt underneath and stay snuggly even when the temperature is below zero! This coat has three pockets. There are two pockets on the sides of the coat and a small pocket on the left side of the chest. Bags close with buttons, not zippers or Velcro. The sides of the coat zip up and there is a flap over the zip that can be buttoned for added security. It will not be difficult for a child to fold or disassemble the fasteners, and it will not be difficult to zip up to zip up, unzip and unzip. The hood covers the head well, but be aware that it cannot be tightened. The elasticated cuffs are good for their length and great for keeping the wearer warm for chilly air! I like how tight but not too tied! They are also thin enough to easily slip over a glove to wear over them. The case is really waterproof. When it rains, the water bubbles up and rolls off. We haven't had snow here yet, but I think it would be a good choice for that accumulation as well. Highly recommended!
