I thought for the price I was getting a strong easy to clean nest with some kind of pad underneath. It describes itself as a fluffy nest and features technical wicks for easy cleaning of the lining underneath. i have chickens I returned as soon as I saw it. This is not a permanent nest. It's a big bag of straw people. I seriously didn't open the bag. I returned immediately and went to the tractor service. That's very disappointing! If you have money to throw on the fire at night to keep warm, then go ahead. But hay works too, and at 1 p.m. you buy a large square deposit of hay. You are good at it. I have short plastic containers that fit in a bird feeder with hay. I can take them out, just drop them and just refill. Two words for what this nest is for. Rip off. I bought a big bale of hay and enough flip boxes and still haven't spent what I did to get three of the six nests (thought I'd get the other three later). This description is a joke. This item is inconvenient as you can use it for a week before needing more. Birds are dirty people. If you want clean eggs, I suggest changing them more often. Worst purchase I have ever made from Revain!
