Lens cap loose - last negative I can think of

A couple of strips of tape will do just fine. Objective: I bought this after thinking a lot about whether it was just a "fun" / toy / non-serious purchase or if I would actually use it a lot. Although I haven't been shooting much lately (too busy right now), I immediately have a good series of shots around the house and yard (and the sky, up and down the street, mailbox + yard + house + neighbor's yard) done + dead end (all in one shot) This is an amazing thing I'm learning that you can shoot "pretty normal" shots as long as the main subject is centered horizontally in the frame, or wild and crazy earth bend shots with a slight tilt of The lens Night shots The sky is incredible. This is really fun and I'm just getting started. It won't cure my obsession with telephoto lenses (birds in flight etc) but the fisheye wide angle lets me use my 20-35mm zoom more often. I love this one lens. (I've searched long and hard for the Sigma 15mm, but so far I'm happy with the Nikon instead.)

Pros
  • Camera lenses
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
