We just took our kitten on an overland trip. I was afraid of losing him somewhere along the way, so while driving he wore his harness with an identification tag attached. I have no complaints about this belt, it worked great! It sits on him perfectly, tight enough to stop when he pulls on it, but not so tight that it's uncomfortable. It is very well made and looks great. Plus, not only is the bell cute, it helped us know where she was whenever we moved around the car (no, we didn't lock her in a kennel for 24 hours). The leash is great and I love that it comes with the harnesses rather than something I had to purchase separately. And finally, it's so cheap. I highly recommend this cat harness/leash set! PS Yes, your cat will reject the dishes at first, expect that. Just follow the directions and apply it to your cat for a few minutes each day (start with a few minutes, say 5, and gradually build up). Mine rolled over and acted like it was on fire the first few times, but after about a week it didn't seem to bother him at all. It may take a little longer when your cat is older, but I imagine with a little patience and even a few "treats" while wearing it, your cat will get used to it within a week or two.
