most likely will not suit you

Here is an email I wrote to the company which due to some sort of email glitch bounced off the generator and the array damaged. An additional problem is that the long cable is attached to the assembly and the short cable is attached to the clips. If it were the other way around, we could at least disconnect from the passenger compartment while driving and reconnect when parked, so we could leave the array permanently on the dashboard or on the roof. Disconnect the array while the engine is running. Perhaps instead you could set the output voltage to around 18V so that even with the engine running there would be current flowing from the array to the battery (or would that cause the alternator diode to burn out?). You haven't done that either, so you'll have to connect/disconnect manually. Do you seriously expect your customer to pop the hood and reconnect the clips every time they park? BTW my cigarette lighter turns off when the car is turned off (ironically to save battery) so I can't use that method. . If I could, I could save this thing by just pocketing it like this every time I park. But to make matters worse, you didn't disclose in your Amazon product description that the generator charging current would actually damage the array. Had you done this with the above in mind I would not have ordered it at all which would have saved us both trouble. Your product is well made, but it's really, really BAD designed. What did you think you were doing? Someone should be fired. ALL THIS MONEY IS NOTHING! I hope to hear an answer from you on this subject. I look forward to it. A very, very dissatisfied customer.
