Review on 🍓 Raspberry Pi Pico Microcontroller Board with Pre-Soldered Header and 5 Accessories Kit - RP2040 Dual-Core ARM Cortex M0+ Processor Support for C/C++/Python by Charlie Wilson

I bought this kit because I wanted to try out the new Raspberry Pi Pico and get another full size breadboard. Pre-soldered pin contacts were also attractive to save time. It had a 4.9 star rating at the time of purchase and I have purchased other Sunfounder products in the past which have been fine. The pico works fine and the jumpers were standard quality, nothing special. But the breadboard was complete bullshit. The control line numbers have been erased from more than half of the board. The slots were either too loose or too tight and I ended up damaging a few resistors and jumpers trying to fit them into the slots. Even the included pico didn't fit the breadboard properly! (Yes, it matches my other breadboards, so it's not Pico's fault and not the user's). I figured I'd just sort this out until I noticed some of my projects weren't working properly. During the elimination process I discovered that the inside of the breadboard was faulty. Many terminal blocks were sticking out of the back of the breadboard (they would probably have fallen out entirely if it wasn't for the adhesive strip) and not connected to each of the 5 slots on that strip. Contacted Revain and they sent me a replacement. I hope it was just a defective breadboard. I will update the rating when I receive a replacement.
